About Us

Jacobs & Co is an independent design studio.

We work with a diverse range of clients across disciplines and enjoy solving design problems both big & small. Our focus is on brand identity & visual communication, but we’re interested in creating anything beautiful & useful.

We work for businesses but design for people. Simply put—we like doing good work for good folks. We build lasting relationships with our clients & genuinely care about helping them achieve success.

Meet the Team

Owner & Creative Lead

Anna Jacobs

Anna is an agency veteran with over a decade of design and brand experience. She started Jacobs&Co in 2019. With special attention and regard for typography, Anna brings an honest and straightforward approach to visual communication. In addition to her practice, Anna adjuncts at the University of Arkansas’ School of Art, teaching Identity Design and Typographic Systems.

Away from the office, she’s a lover of cooking, entomology, and a constant companion for Olive, an Italian Greyhound with a fondness for houseplants and paper products. She also enjoys a good martini, listening to jazz, and spending massive amounts of time on the screened-in porch.

Design + Digital Strategy

Macy Burr

At Jacobs&Co, Macy most closely resembles a Swiss Army Knife—a versatile designer ready to tackle any task from copywriting to web design. She also owns and operates Soundscape Studio, where she creates custom art prints based on popular music scores.

In her free time, Macy enjoys playing piano, taking long bubble baths, baking bread, purposely mispronouncing words, and walking her Italian greyhound puppy around the neighborhood.

Junior Designer

Molly Lebermann

Molly joined Jacobs&Co in 2021 after graduating with her BFA from the University of Arkansas. She thrives most in conceptual and experimental environments, hence her love of brainstorming and mood boarding. Observing the world around her helps create work that aims to be thoughtful, imaginative, and intricate.

She spends her free time collecting miniature items and color-coordinating her Spotify playlists. She also enjoys film photography, vintage comics, exploring local trails, and consuming lots of coffee and watermelon. ?

Culture

Quality > Quantity

We’re a small team, and we like it that way. Small is personal. No go-betweens. Just designers, collaborating directly with amazing folks to do the best work we can.

01

Partner > Supplier

We don’t just execute projects; we develop partnerships. Experience tells us that our most successful work is created by collaborating with our clients to find solutions. Therefore, we work best with engaged partners ready to invest fully and work together to bring creative solutions to life.

02

Calm > Chaos

There’s an adage we love: Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Working smoothly requires working with intention and care, fewer mistakes, and more precision. Working in a rushed and reactionary way typically causes more stress with worse results—a lose-lose in our book.
